A 1994 graduate of Liverpool High School and a 1999 graduate of the University at Buffalo, where he was a Senior National Qualifier. He earned a degree in Mathematics and his secondary teaching certification.
Coach Zac spent 2 years coaching the Liverpool Modified Scholastic Teams to a combined 26-3 record. In the Fall of 2001, Coach Zac took over as Head Coach of the Liverpool Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving Program.
Coach Zac also teaches 8th grade mathematics for the North Syracuse School District.
